About Lois Lepisto
Ever since I can remember, I've been an "artist". I loved to color as a kid and spent endless hours on Gram's front porch carefully coloring every page in probably a million coloring books. Creating "collages" of magazine pictures was another cherished activity. Then one day my Uncle gave me the most wonderful gift - a wooden box full of oil paints, brushes, canvases, and supplies. I immediately started painting, eventually developing my my own style. Later, I dabbled in watercolors and pastels, and charcoals. Currently I’m working on mixed media projects and my photography. I've also always had a camera - I think my first one was a Brownie. My current camera of choice is a Sony a7ii mirrorless, and I’m loving it!! Feedback...

Hi Lois, which cemetery? The description is empty... As an SEO person, that really needs to be loaded up with SEO goodness. Describe the place and tell the story behind the image... It adds a lot to your time but it adds so much more to being found in search also! v. I now see your five word description, think 50 words.. Late afternoon sunlight slanting in on headstone of Sam Childs. The autumn leaves gather at the base of the brown stone marker and dance in the light breeze and then lay silent like the grave. The rough hewn stone edges give purchase to molds giving the headstone a patina to match it's age.... The deerfield cemetery is a three hundred year old cemetery. Something like that... Not a critique, just a suggestion for good SEO to show my appreciation for featuring my images..

Thanks Jeff! I appreciate your input, and definitely welcome critique anytime!!! I get so wrapped up in the photo that I forget that it needs a creative description to pull it all together.......Your images are amazing and I love to feature them so that all the other members (including me) can see really good photography and not only appreciate it, but learn from it.
